Sub D 242

Just wan to blog this before I sleep, while still having the excitement in me.

Personally I felt very much inspired and motivated once again by Alan's faith injection through his testimony and reflection during the Sub D 242.

Below are what I have learnt and would like to put them into practice in my daily life.

1. Push myself in my work and continue to have the appetide and desire to grow. Put in my best effort in doing things I supposed to do.

2. Too see God's power at work in my career and life. Pray a prayer to ask God for His anointing and power in my work every morning. Give thanks to God for what He has done that day every night. This I will do it together with my shepherd Jason.

3. Move on and seek for breakthrough in my life. Get rid of the "cannot make it" kind of mindset and the inward-lookingness. Not limiting myself with my natural self but strive to be what God intend me to be.

Hold me accountable!

Be Thankful

Thanks Zhiyong for setting up our CG Blog! I like the design of the green grasspatch, it gives a sense of tranquility and peace, which is the hallmark of our cg :P

I like to share a poem that I encountered, hope it encourages your as much as it encourages me :)

Be thankful that you don't have everything that you desire,
if you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.
Be thankful for the difficult times,
during those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunity for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength & character.
Be thankful for your mistakes,
they will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you are tired and weary,
because it means you've make a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into postive.
Find a way to be thankful for your setbacks
and they can become your blessings.

Have a blessed week ahead!

Welcome!

Hi bros and sis,

First of all, welcome you all to our new-launched blog. I think this blog can serve as a channel for us to communicate better, not just information but more importantly the things we would like to share to one another which sometimes we find it hard to share due to time constraint. Through this blog, we are also able to keep each other updated about the happennings in our daily lives. Look forward to hear from all of us.

By the way, please feel free to comment on how the blog should look like. It can be the background colors, text colors, pictures, etc. I will try my best to change it. Thanks.
